Stages in Cleaning a Stainless Steel Wok
Stage 1 - Eliminating Loosely Attached Food Particles, Sauces, and Grease
Rinse away any loosely attached food particles.
Utilize the wok spatula as a scraper to remove large food debris.
Employ the wok whisk to clean the wok using the edge of the bamboo strips.
Use the wok whisk to scrape the wok at an angle.
Continue using the wok whisk until the wok is clean.
Rinse the wok with water and dry it with the 3M Scotch Brite sponge.
If stains persist, proceed to stage 2.
Stage 2 - Eliminating Stains from the Wok's Surface
Rinse the wok.
Utilize the green scrubbing side to eliminate stains on the wok's surface.
The stain should come off easily.
If it doesn't, switch to a new scrubbing sponge.
Scrub the wok's surface until all stains are gone.
Rinse both the wok and the sponge.
Dry the wok before putting it away.
Helpful Tips
Remove excess water from the wok whisk. This helps the wok whisk dry more quickly.
Hang the wok whisk. Hang it using a hook at the end to accelerate drying.
Replace the wok whisk. Get a new one if the bamboo strips begin to loosen.
Replace the 3M scrub sponge. Buy a new sponge when the current one becomes less effective.
Note if the scrub sponge leaves scratch marks. This will not affect the wok's functionality.
